Alvechurch Village Hall, 10 Bear Hill, Alvechurch, BIRMINGHAM, West Midlands, B48 7JX
On this lovely, relaxing half day course you will be introduced to a variety of wools from British breed sheep. You will work with a peg loom to weave the fibres into a small mat, which you will be able to take away with you. Looms will be warped up ready but you will be shown how easy they are to thread the warp (lengthways) threads. There will be a short demonstration of how to card wool and how to use a drop spindle in case you wish to join us for a future full day course!
