Make a Light Merino Wool Triangle Scarf
Wednesday 19 August 2026, 10am–1pm Warwickshire Artisans, Yew Tree Farm Shopping Village, Stratford Road, Wootton Wawen, Henley‑in‑Arden, Warwickshire, B95 6BY
Create a beautifully airy felted triangle scarf—perfect for those cooler summer evenings—in this gentle, creative workshop with textile artist Penny.
You’ll explore the delicate technique of cobweb felting, laying whisper‑fine strips of soft merino wool before coaxing the fibres together with warm soapy water. There will be a gorgeous palette of colours to choose from, and we’ll chat about simple colour theory to help you select tones that truly suit you. You’ll also take away plenty of tips so you can continue experimenting confidently at home.
Throughout the session, Penny works alongside you step by step to help you craft a light yet durable scarf that friends and family will admire—perhaps even hinting for one of their own. The process involves some gentle rolling, but we keep a relaxed pace with refreshments and breaks whenever you need them.
A calming, creative morning awaits.
Suitable for beginners and those who have felted before. Please bring a large towel to work on and a waterproof bag to take damp work home in.
