Make a Wet Felted Bowl at Ditchford Farm, Wednesday 23 July 2025, 10-1pm
Ros Ingram's Ceramics Studiio, Ditchfor Farm, Stretton on Fosse, Warwickshire
In this studio session we will be working with soft wool fibres, for the morning but and learning how to make a felt bowl or a more structured plant pot holder. You will learn how to lay soft merino fibres around a flat resist. Using soap and water you will agitate the fibres and with guidance will find out the correct time to remove the resist and continue working your 3-D bowl. Or you can mould into a pot shape to keep your plants cosy! You will be able to add stitiching at home when your pot is dry or just admire it as it is!
Suitable for beginners and those who have felted before. Please bring a large towel to work on and a waterproof bag to take damp work home in.
Materials and refreshments are included.
