Join felt artist Penny to make a stunning wall hanging using tapestry weaving techniques with a large needle on  a frame loom.
You will spend a restful session learning how to design and make a unique wall hanging and choose from a variety of 'stitches' that you will be able to use in the future.
 
These range from plain or tabby weave, basket weave or hopsack and twill. Experiment with interlocking shapes and try soumak stitch too. Wow!
They are easy peasy and the fun is in the repetition.
You can also spend your time just focussing on colour with plain weave. It's all about the restful enjoyment of the process.
Refreshments and lunch are included in your day.
I bring a huge variety of wools but feel free to bring your own colours too. Nothing is off limits with this joyful weaving - sticks and sparkles can all be added too :)
 
 
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some weaving experience. 
All materials and refreshments are provided, and you’ll receive 10% off full‑priced items in the shop on the day of your workshop.
 
Cancellation policy: Refunds are available up to one week before the workshop date. After that, you are welcome to move to another session by mutual agreement. If a workshop has insufficient numbers, we may ask participants to move to an alternative date — you will receive at least one week’s notice.
